The application I have been developing is great except one flaw. When
Windows NT shuts down, it doesn't send the Event to my application (if it
did, it would close all of the open forms and kill an activity flag I create
on launch) and an error comes up that says "Cannot Quit". I have no idea
where this error is coming from as I did put it in there.
I am unsure if this is because of the hidden form which has a bunch of
timers on it (I...

I'm using Visual Studio, with ASP.NET. Is VSS on a separate CD.
Also, is it possible to use the VSS beta (2005) with .NET if I'm not using
the .NET beta.
And finally, where do I get the VSS beta... when I go to msdn, it just
directs me to a page with Whidbey downloads.... nothing mentioned on VSS

I'm trying to compile the source code for the demos that comes with
NVIDIA's SDK using Visual Studio 2005, however whenever I try to build
them I get a large number of unresolved external errors or "LNK1104:
cannot open file 'LibCD.lib'" I'm currently trying to get 'gpgpu_fluid'

Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Hi!
We are finding ourselves in a situation where we have to parse
several more or less free format text files.
In the past, on linux, we had flex and bison for generating
very fast parsers for these files.
Is there any equivalent in the visual studio world?
Lots of Greetings!

Hello,
Can someone show me a piece of code or tell me where I can set the property
in a HTMLInputButton, so it only searches for specific file extensions (i.e.
..doc, .xls, etc) when the Windows Choose File dialog box comes up?
I've searched the internet for documentation on this Control, but what I've
found does not show how to specify which file types to display.
I'm using Visual Studio 2003, so the control name under the HTML...

A day or two ago, I wrote a quick ASPX page with a CS codebehind using
Visual Studio .NET 2005 -- it worked, I saved it and closed the
project. Today, I came back to the project, reopened the solution, and
was greeted with the following error:
========================================================================
It is an error to use a section registered as
allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
