Hello,
I've had an ASP page that worked for at the minimum for a year and now it is acting very odd and I need some help to fix it. What my page does/did is creates a Word.Application object and a new document from a template. It then proceeds to fill in a bunch of the information on the word document using bookmarks and data from a database. Then it saves the document to a directory and sends the user off to go get the new document.

I have created an Excel spreadsheet for the web. When it opens in IE
6.0 I get the message that the format is not supported. This is because
it is in tab delimited format. Ane when I save the file, It saves it as
txt. How can this file be created so that Excel sees it as an .xls
format. I created the data in VB 6.0 with a vbtab to seperate the
columns.
Hope this is enough information.

Scope is a property of identifiers and defines where they are visible
in a source file. Why then do most writings on C also use the word
"scope" to refer to a property of different points of a source file.
For example, "the function call has a prototype in scope.." should
really be "the function call is in the scope of a prototype." Points
in source files don't have scopes, they are withing scopes of
declarations.

I am creating a TAB delimited file with .XLS extention using the Response.ContentType = "application/ms-excel" method. Normally I would place this on it's own form and delete all the HTML in the ASPX page - otherwise the aspx code gets appended to the end of the file out put to Excel. How do I produce the same output from a page where I cannot simply delete all the HTML code (must leave buttons and other objects intact)? In other words how...

only get a download dialogue box. Downloading the file works fine, but I
want to view the PDF directly.
I get the same response with:
Response.ContentType="Application/X-unknown" which is more understandable.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
