hi
Can somebody help me with this issue
I'm exporting my data from Analysis Service to excel files using ADOMD.
I got hundreds of excel files that need to be inserted with cube data retrieved from ADOMD connection.
Each of the files would have a pre-defined location where i should start inserting data, for example "R3C4"(each file would be in different cell)
I need to open the existing file, adds data to it, save changes, and closes
I've...

Hi
I'm new to VB.Net.... could use some advice.
I have developed an ActiveX DLL in VB6 that uses ADOMD/ADODB. In call this
DLL from my new VB.NET Windows Service app, it automatically creats
interop.adomd and interop adodb. When I run the service, it seems that the
adomd programming does not work - and I can't get a connection to the
different servers.

I'm interested to learn how to use mdb files via ado/adox via vb6
Since I'm not using Access are those types of questions o.t. here?
I see very few ado questions here. But there's a lot more traffic here than
the ado groups.
:-)
Thanks

Hello,
We are doing a stability test on our application to prepare for Microsoft
SQL Server 2000 certification, and we found a memory leak, but we cannot find
its source and fix it.
We use an ASP page written in JScript that connects to Analysis Services
2000 using ADOMD and retrieves data from it (this is a very simplified
version of our real application that we created just to test the memory
leak), see the code below.

I've just been handed an old project (written in VC6 or possibly an earlier
version) which I need to compile in Visual Studio Express. I went through the
normal solution coversion process but the code unfortunately does not
compile. There seem to be a problem with the resource but the error message
is very vague so I don't know which part (configuration or code) that needs
to be modified. I think the relevant error is this one:

We have a .NET application that uses ADOMD to query a MS analysis OLAP
cube. In a typical query, we get data for about 3 dimensions (800 x 15
x 2 entities) and then iterate over the resulting cell set to extract
information. Occasionally, we see "Object is no longer valid"
exceptions being thrown.
The object (whose access usually throws this error) is of the type
"ADOMD.Position". Sometimes the error appears while executing...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
