I've noticed that none of the child controls events are firing for the first time from the dynamic user control. Here is the event cycle.
1) MainPage_load
2) User control1_Load
user clicks a dropdown in UC1

PROBLEM:
When a user control is loaded into a PlaceHolder control more than once, the
events do not fire on the first click of a control on the dynamically loaded
user control. In other words, the first time the control is dynamically
loaded, everything works fine. After that, if the control is loaded again
from the page button event handler, the user controls events fail to fire on
the first click

I create a user control dynamically:
Dim newCriteriaControl As CriteriaTextBoxUserControl =
CType(Me._page.LoadControl("CriteriaTextBoxUserControl.ascx"),
CriteriaTextBoxUserControl)
myContainer.Add(newCriteriaControl)
and the user control's load event executes on initial executon of the page.
On a POST of the same page, the control is added as above, but the load
event is not firing, nor is prerender.

ItemCommand event not firing from a dynamic user control ,WHERE A

I have a user control that is a report to display data. On the page the
control is inserted in, I have filter options to filter the report. When I
try to do something like this, nothing happens.

I am new to VB.NET and am using VB.NET 2005.
I have an MDI form with a Split Container Control. On demand I am adding and
removing User Controls on Panel 2. I am using Show() and Hide(). It works
perfectly. The only thing is I would like to remove the User Control from
memory instead of hiding. I tried Dispose(), however then I cannot show this

I've got a user control that builds a table of dynamic data based on a :LINQ class holding the data. The data is loaded using the LoadData(DataInstance) method. I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
