Hi folks,
i have a problem using a PHP script as a custom handler in Apache.
What i wanna do is this:
Whenever a .html file is requested by a browser, i want Apache to call a
CGI that outputs a header, then the requested file and then a footer.
I want to use PHP for this, as i also want to do some template parsing.
Well, basically,...

We currently have custom error logging setup on all of our websites. We
have IIS setup to redirect to our custom 500-100.asp page which logs the
error to a database and then redirects to a friendly error message page.
Last week we were working on a pretty troublesome error on our intranet site
and noticed huge discrepencies between the IIS...

Hello,
I have implemented a custom config section handler by implementing the
IConfigurationSectionHandler interface. I have registered this handler
in web.config and everything works fine ... for a while. At random
points in time my section handler stops working and throws the
exception:
Configuration Error
Description: An error...

I've got a custom HttpHandler to process all requests for a given
extension. It gets invoked OK, but if I try to do a Server.Transfer I
get an HttpException. A Response.Redirect works, but I really need to
avoid the extra round-trip to the client.
I've tried Passing the page name, the full URL, and the instance of
the handler class to the...

I have a Windows Forms application that implements a plug-in architecture
whereby required assemblies are identified and loaded dynamically.
Here are the relevant classes:
A = application = Windows Forms class
B = a singleton hosted within A. B is responsible for dynamically loading
classes X, Y, and Z.

Hello,
I am having problems with Server.Transfer(string, bool) in the
ProcessRequest method of a custom HTTP handler. I get the "Error
executing child request" error message. The page that I am trying to
transfer to is mapped to the same custom handler.
Does anyone know why this occurs? Does the Server.Transfer method
assume that the...

Before anything else, I am not a very technical expert when it comes to VBA coding.
I learned most of what I know by the excellent Access/VBA forum from bytes.com (formerly thescripts.com).
Ergo, I will be writing this article intended for those who are in the same level, or maybe lower, of my technical knowledge.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
