I first noticed this in my own app. Images would show up missing
randomly on IE 6.0.2800.1106 on Windows 2000 server.
I then was able to repro this problem on Microsoft's website!!! The page I
used was
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/default.asp
After pressing to refresh the page six times, I noticed missing images
on the page.
This problem seems to be very reproducible. I coded a sample ASP page...

I just realized that the code I inherited is using all asp.net server
controls (ie. webform controls) and when I try to update textboxes on the
client side, I lose the new value of the textbox when submitting the form to
update the database. The server doesn't have the client side value any more.

I want to insert (or not insert) a Macromedia Flash object on my ASP.NET .ASPX page. What is the most elegant way of doing this? I know that I could use an <ASP:Literal> control and just spit the <OBJECT> tag text out to the browser (or not if I don't want to present the Flash movie). Is there another way? Is there an ASP.NET "OBJECT" Web Control??

Is it possible to read a CSV from the Client, and bind my Datagrid to the
data in the CSV file without uploading the file to the Server first?
I have tried and in Debug mode on my workstation it works fine, but when I
publish the page on our DEV server it doesn't fine the CSV file from the

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
