Unrecognized Attribute "appliesTo" in BuildProvider Add Extension

Hi,
I use DataDynamics Active Reports instead of Crystal. When I add an Active
Report object to my web site, it inserts the following in the web.config file.

<buildProviders >
<add extension=".rpx " appliesTo="All"
type="DataDynam ics.ActiveRepor ts.BuildProvide r.RpxBuildProvi der,ActiveRepor ts.BuildProvide r,Version=4.1.0 .1127,Culture=n eutral,PublicKe yToken=CC496777 7C49A3FF"/>
</buildProviders>

When I build the web site, I get the error "Unrecogniz ed attribute
'appliesTo'. Note the attribute names as case-sensitive."

I have check the on-line help for this and the caseing is correct.

Can anyone help resolve this error?

The appliesTo attribute was used in beta2 but it's no longer used in the
release version. Just remove it and you should be ok.

Thank You Brok for your assistance.

That eliminated this error. I'll need to wait for a reply from DataDynamics
on my final problem.

Hello, Using ASP.NET v2.0.40607.42, I'm attempting to create a new file extension that should be handled exactly like "aspx" pages. For example, I just want to rename an aspx page from "test.aspx" to "test.extx", where .extx extensions are handled in exactly the same way as aspx pages. In pre-2.0 versions of ASP.NET, simply adding a HttpHandler element (below) to web.config, and adding a IIS mapping of "extx" to

When I build a C# class and install it in the GAC, my code works as it should, my .aspx code finds the DLL and can run a static method: <%@ Assembly Name="AutoCoder, Culture=neutral, Version=1.0.1922.22245, PublicKeyToken=0a4067d718757385" %> <%@ Import Namespace="AutoCoder" %> Trace.Write( "AutoCoder", AutoCoder.Common.GetConnectionString( )) ; But I cant locate the assembly in its directory using the src= property.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
