conversion from word document to Powerpoint presentation using vb.net

HI,
For one of our ASP.NET project we are generating a business graph
using a crystalreportvi ewer.
The crystalreportvi ewer gives the possibility of exporting to .htm, .doc, .
xls, .pdf, .rtf.
Our requirement is exporting to powerpoint presentation which is not
available.

So we are exporting first to word document and then there should be some
code/tool to convert word document to powerpoint presentation.

May I plz have the vb.net code that converts word document to powerpoint
presentation.

Any other solution to convert to .PPT is welcome.

Atleast It would be great If I were redirected to a Tool that does this job.

Regards,
Ravi Kiran.

I have a VB.Net application and a PowerPoint presentation explaining how each form in the application works, etc.. I would like to select and display the slide appropriate for each form by pressing the F1 key. In other words, I want to use the powerpoint presentation for my help system. I am calling the SlideShow from the applications menu, and it works great; however, the same techniques are not working for selecting individual slides. ...

I have an application that has an Access table that stores the locations of slides in a Powerpoint file. This used to work fine when there were about 4 files and 200 slides. The database would open all four PPT files at once, and would loop through queriers for ever client and create custom presentations. Now there are 8 files, nearly 500 slides and the computer is bogging down with trying to open them all at once. I know that Access...

Hi, We have a project that requires a .NET service to convert a Word document to a PDF document. Basically, a person would create a mail merge template in Word and through automation, we merge the data and spit out one or more PDF documents. It appears that the best thing for me to do is get a product that installs some type of printer driver. The problem is that the drivers pop up a dialog box prompting for the destination file...

Hello, I have the following problem and I do not know how to accomplish this. I have an (existing) powerpoint presentation that should be displayed not within its own window, but within a control of my own form. So I added a reference to the Microsoft PowerPoint Object Library and tried to run a slideshow of the presentation. For this I am using those classes like PowerPoint.Application, PowerPoint.Presentation, PowerPoint.Slides, ......

Hi everyone, I'm wanting to use VB.NET to display a powerpoint presentation, much the same way as the presenter that comes with PowerPoint (when used on multiple monitors). Basically, I want to show the presentation in one form/window, and in the other, have controls for moving through the presentation, list of slides, etc. I don't really want code as such, more like a tutorial on how to do something like this.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
