Hi,
I have a DetailsView control bound to a SqlDataSource. I've got
everything working nearly as I want, but here's my problem.
I have a table which has a Guid as a Primary Key, and a VarChar field
(a Title) which is also unique. If the user edits the Title field in
the DetailsView to make it a duplicate, and hits Update, an exception
is thrown (SQLException - statement cancelled as it would violate the
key restrictions).

I have a wizard control inside a detailsview control. When I attempt
to call the InsertItem method on the DetailsView I get an error
"ObjectDataSource 'ObjectDataSource1' has no values to insert. Check
that the 'values' dictionary contains values."

When I programatically Bind a DataSource to DetailsView it does not fire
"ModeChanged" event.
This is first time i am trying to use ASP.NET DetailsView control.
I have played with some of the sample provided by Microsoft and other
comminity sites. Most of the samples were using Databinding using a

I have a detailsview with two fields: in editmode, one is a textbox and the
other is a dropdownlist.
i want to update both fields using the detailsview.
My problem: when clicking on the edit button, the modified text in the
textbox is effectively updated in the table, but instead of updating the
chosen value of the dropdownlist, the field in the table becomes empty (old
value is updated by nothing).

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
