I have a datagrid inside a datalist. The datalist shows parent info and the datagrid shows the child info for that parent. There is a checkbox on each row of the child datagrid. Also inside the datalist is a radiobuttonlist. I have an aspx page to view a single blog entry along with user comments.
The blogs are stored in one table in the database and the comments in
another. A (2.0) FormView displays the blog entry and a DataList iterates
the comments.
The problem is I cannot find a way to connect the DataKeys, making the
DataList's datasource selecting only comments with BlogID=X

hello,
i am trying to access controls inside my formview1 nested inside
loginview1. you cannot access the formview1 unless you are properly
logged in.
for loginview1, that seems to be fairly simple. a label control would
be:
Label label1 = (Label)loginview1.FindControl("nameoflabel");
then i get to the data that was bound to that control.

I have created a usercontrol (ascx file) which contains a formview, inside
of the formview I have an EditItemTemplate and an ItemTemplate. Both the
EditItemTemplate and ItemTemplate have link buttons which call some code to
changed the formview mode from Edit to ReadOnly or vice versa. When I run
the code though and click the link buttons, the formview doesn't switch
modes (the page reloads the mode just doesn't change)

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
