I'm looking for an asp code who can send an email without using a mail
component.
I started to write somethings using winsock but I don't have enough time to
finish it.
Does somebody have a such code?

I am not sure these web based mail support POP3 or IMAP4. Is there any mail
component out there that can retrieve mail from these services?

Is there any way to pass a login name/password when calling
System.Web.Mail.SMTPMail? Can't find anything in the docs or KB... If not,
any suggestions to get this functionality short of building something
straight from sockets? Third party component isn't an option... :)

I'm working on a reset password script for my CMS, that will generate

problem I am having is that the mails being sent out are beign marked
as spam by our internal mail system and never reaching users'
