Thanks in advance to anyone who may be able to help me!
I have a Subform control using the Dataview viewing method to display
records. The problem is (and even though this seems tedious it is
buggying me to death lol) when you use the vertical scrollbar to see
the last field in the Subform, it allows you to continue to scroll
past the last field in the Subform into a 'grey' area. I think being
able to see the 'grey' area looks...

I have dataview which is stored in Cache for about 10 minutes. When a web
user makes a selection the cached data is called from cache, sorted,
filtered and bound to a datagrid. The cache is not re-saved. When the next
user comes along if they have no querystring parameters, they are supposed
to default back to the beginning of the data, but instead the data grid
starts at the point the last user was viewing. The users are able to get
back...

I'm using a DataGrid with a DataSet and I'm trying to filter the data being
displayed, using the following code as a test:
DataView theView = new DataView(theDataSet.Tables);
theView.RowFilter = "'Record ID' = '0'";
theView.RowStateFilter = DataViewRowState.ModifiedCurrent;
Debug.WriteLine(string.Format("RowFilter = {0}", theView.RowFilter));
RecordDataGrid.DataSource = theView;
RecordDataGrid.DataBind();

I have a form with a dataset and a datagrid.
I created a dataview on this dataset.
When the user modifies the datagrid, I look up this record in the dataview
to make sure it is unique.
Here is the confusion.........
I thought that the DataView is the view from the dataset, but it seems that
the dataview has the records that are in the datagrid, because everytime I
search for a record that I know is NOT in the dataset, it finds it. I...

I use a dataview to view records from an sql-database in a windows-form.
When I use a select statement from a table like SELECT * FROM Table1 it
works ok.
objDataAdapter.Fill(objDataSet, "Table1")
I fill the field in the form with
txtFieldName.DataBindings.Add("Text", objDataView, "FieldName")
When I change the select-statement to get fields from 2 or more tables like
SELECT Table1.*, Table2.Field2, Table2.Field3 FROM Table1 LEFT OUTER...

Hi,
I'm working on fixing a bug in a very data intensive windows
application. The application has a datagrid that binds to a dataview.
The dataview can hold as many as 40000 records that are retrieved from
two tables with a join. The user filters the dataview to display a
subset of the 40000 records. All data gets loaded on FormLoad(). From
time to time the dataview ends up with zero records w/o any exceptions
being thrown. If there...

Basically I have a DataGrid that I'm binding to the results of a stored
procedure call. The recordset is fairly small. Initially I'm creating a
DataSet from the results and binding it. There's a DropDownList on my page
that filters the records that are displayed in the grid.
How I'm currently handling this is when I initially bind, I create a
DataView from the table in the dataset. When the DropDownList changes
selection, I get the...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
