Hello there,
I am at my wit's end ! I have used the following script succesfully to
upload an image to my web space. But what I really want to be able to do is
to update an existing record in a table in MySQL with the path & filename to
the image.
I have successfully uploaded and performed an update query on the database,
but the problem I have is I cannot retain the primary key field in a
variable which is then used in a SQL update...

We regularly make drive images of our entire server and store it at a
backup site. To be honest I have never fully understood how the imaging
programs deal with open files. My question is will the drive image make
a good copy of MySQL DB or should I be running a mysqldump before doing
the drive image?

Hi,
i have an ASP.NET project that is using a (Class Library Project) VB.NET DLL.
for some reason after running some pages on the web server, and trying to compile the Class Library DLL, it can't compile because the DLL is in use (and the PDB too), and the w3wp.exe process is the process locking the DLL (as viewed with Sysinternals - Process Explorer).
this is a huge problem. i need to do IIS reset in order to free the DLL!

Hi All
When I set a buttons image to a image file in the properties window it seems
to lock the file even if I clear the button image property in the properties
window
Sometimes I am editing the icon/bitmap and connect it to the button to see
what it looks like
Then I want to make further changes so I clear the image from the buttons

Hello.
I'm trying to create an Image so I use something like this:
Image newImage = Image.FromFile(filename);
Now when it's a bmp file and certain .gif files it gives me an
exception that says: "Invalid parameter used". The gif an bmp files are
valid image files, I can open them in any graphics software and windows
can do the preview.
