Not that easy really, since the client can have any number of settings
(fonts, etc) overridden. You can force breaks with CSS but it's it
sounds like you may be in need of a reporting component.

I have a page for my company that I need assistance with: http://www.eastex.net/ben/NewETN/subPage.htm When you resize the window (NS or IE) small enough that you have to scroll horizontally (because of logo image), scrolling right breaks the layout. I'm using 100% div widths, and these apparently don't reset when scrolling. I tried using a min-width and IE hack for min-width ( width:expression(document.body.clientWidth < 550 ? "450px"...

We have a bunch of usercontrols we are using on our site. One of them calls functions in a compiled DLL (is that a 'resource' in VS.net terminology?) The pages that contains all of these controls work just fine. We've made a new page, error.aspx that we're going to use for our custom 404 page. If we load/navigate directly to this page, no problem. If we get to this page via IIS redirect (for page not found) the one control that depends on...

I have a repeater which displays records from a database in table form. Each record is placed in its own table of about 3 columns and ten rows. This website is intended to be printed and prints out to about 10 pages, although there are page breaks in the middle of some of the tables, causes the data to be split up. Using a repeater I cannot specifically say where I want a page break, or can I?. Is there anyway to keep the tables intact,...

Hi. I have an asp.net webform I need to make 'printer-friendly'. Problem is that content on the webform is dynamic - subject to change size, spacing, etc. Is there a way I can programatically define page-breaks on the form, which would cause page breaks when the form is printed? Thanks.

I am trying to create a form that allows users to paste information (a full adress) from an other application (xml based ) into an access 97 text box - then use vba code to split the string into substrings and copy them to other text boxes using the (existing) page breaks that are in the text string but unfortunately i cannot work out how to refer to the breaks in code, they do show up as double square characters if I pass the text to a string...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
