Microsoft.Repor tViewer.WebForm s assembly

Does anyone know how to deploy this? My web site runs properly locally, but
when deployed to my ISP, this assembly is not found. When I copy the
assemblies manually I get an error:
The definition of the report 'Main Report' is invalid.
even though there is no such report in my project.

Does anyone know how to deploy the reporting features in ASP .Net 2.0?

Hi, In my application VB.NET 2005 application I placed a ReportViewer, and link it to a server-report: Me.ReportViewer1.ProcessingMode = Microsoft.Reporting.WinForms.ProcessingMode.Remote Me.ReportViewer1.ServerReport.ReportPath = "/myproject/DemandeDeCotation" Me.ReportViewer1.ServerReport.ReportServerUrl = New System.Uri("http://myserver/reportserver2005", System.UriKind.Absolute)

Hello, I started using the Reportviewer control (very nice) for generating Reporting Services type reports in my VB2005 app. I have been experimenting using a designer Reportviewer control from the toolbox - created at design time - (VB2005) and also creating a Reportviewer control at runtime on the fly. The runtime Reportviewer will populate/display data with a runtime dataAdapter, but the designer Reportviewer from the toolbox is...

Hi, I posted an issue previously that was entirely accurate. I have a master report called "MasterReport.rdlc" and a subreport called "Subreport.rdlc". MasterReport.rdlc has a single subreport with name Subreport and refers to Subreport.rdlc. I add a data source in the VS 2k5 report environment to Subreport.rdlc. This data source has name "SubreportInfo" and is an object of type SubreportInfo. First, say I set my...

I have created a report and subreport in VB/ASP.NET. The report works fine but the subreport will not display. The subreport, when displayed as a standalone report, works fine. But when viewed as a subreport I get the error that the datasource for the subreport is missing. I set a breakpoint in the sub that should set the subreport's datasource and the breakpoint is never hit. I have added a handler like shown in many examples. Why is the...

I need reporting functionality in my app, but for several reasons, I don't want to have to package any DLL files in a setup. I want to deploy my application straight to a shared network drive with the DLL files it needs. Is there any problem with deploying the 3 Microsoft ReportViewer DLL files to a networked drive and having users access them there? Microsoft.ReportViewer.Common.dll Microsoft.ReportViewer.WinForms.dll...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
