toolbar description

I have a .net web application and noticed when a window is open and minimized
on the lower tool bar it shows up as filename-Microsfot Internet Explorer
with the file name corresponding to the aspx filename. Anyhow I was just
wondering if there is a way to set this to be something other than the file
name or add to it? For example I would want the minimized window on the
lower tool bar to show up as
Data Management Website-Microsoft Internet Explorer for any of the several
windows that can be opened from the application.
Thanks.

Hi Everyone, Is there any one out there who can help me in VB.NET to show the tooltip description of the TOOLBAR panel in the STATUSBAR. In other words when the mouse hovers over the tool bars the tooltip shows tip under the mouse and the detail description of the TOOL BAR should be shown in the STATUS BAR panel in the right hand side corner at the bottom of the form.

Hi All, When a user(s) click on the 'Apply Filter' toolbar button I want to run some code before the 'apply filter' kicks off. That code is to check to be sure that the user has selected a value in a perticular field and if no value was selected then display a msgbox and then execute the 'apply filter' else just execute the 'apply filter' so, i think my question is; how do I detect(vba code)when a standard toolbar button is clicked in...

Hi C# wizards, I would like to ask you the following question: I'm working on a program with a mainform (a mdiParent called frmMain) and a childform (called frmNieuwk). I use the library from CommandBar that gives me the new Luna look from Micros$oft, so that gives me a toolbar + menubar with several buttons.

Hello, I'm pretty new to C# and .NET. I've been tasked with creating an Internet Explorer toolbar. I implemented it and it works OK, however, because the toolbar has a notion of having to log into an account and do other time consuming initialization, the result is that IE takes around 5 seconds to start each time a browser window is opened.

I can't find any hits in groups search on this, so I'll try a fresh post: Vs.Net 2003 has recently started hanging when I try to pin the toolbar. The framework 1.1 service pack 1 has been installed, but I don't know if this started happening after I installed it. I've certainly only recently noticed the problem, and I believe (but can't be certain) that it's since the service pack was put on. The only way out of it seems to be killing the...

I have a problem that shows up only on some systems - the toolbar text in buttons is not visible (vb.net 2003 app, 1.1 framework). As a workaround, I changed the textalign property to "right". This solved the problem, but I don't know what's happening. I notice that there is a small "dot" in the first toolbar button that shows up in either of the textalign property choices. Perhaps this is why the text disappears but I didn't put the dot...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
