ItemCreated event problem

All I want to do is change the border of the first img control in my html to
0. The other images I want to have border=1. I have an event on my datalist
that calls the following code:

**************

public void main_ItemCreate d(Object sender, DataListItemEve ntArgs e) {
if (e.Item.ItemTyp e == ListItemType.It em) {
HtmlImage imgPatron = new HtmlImage();
imgPatron = (HtmlImage)e.It em.FindControl( Request.Form["patron"]);
if(imgPatron!=n ull) {
image_count();
if(i_count == 1) {
imgPatron.Borde r = 0; }
}
}
}

************

When the program runs, the program throws the error "object reference not
set to an instance of an object". I'm kind of new to c#, can anyone tell me
what the problem might be?

Hi. Can anyone explain why, when setting the Text of a Label control in the ItemCreated event of a Repeater (example below), the Text value is NOT persisted to ViewState? I know this can be fixed by using the ItemDataBound event, but I don't understand why. here's a page snippet: <asp:Repeater runat="server" id="myRepeater" OnItemCreated="myRepeater_ItemCreated"> ... <ItemTemplate><tr><td><asp:Label id="myLabel" runat="server"...

I have a Datagrid with 9 elements. The problem is that when I sort the grid by a column, it present more columns than there are. This is my code for the ItemCreated event: Private pNo As Integer = 0 Private Sub grd_ItemCreated(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataGridItemEventArgs) Handles grd.ItemCreated

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
