Hi
I have a long form - around 80 fields - which i have decided to break up
into
more manageable sections using the <asp:Panel> control.
Basically i have three panels (stages) containing various form elements
which i show

I’m using a Panel control in my form to display a background image.
So in the Form OnPaint() I wrote:
myPanel.BackgroundImage = m_bmp;
While the m_bmp is the Form Bitmap member.
The problem is that the image is not shown on the screen.
But if change the code in the OnPaint() to:
Bitmap bmp = new Bitmap(m_bmp, m_bmp.Width, m_bmp.Height);

Hello.
I am developing an application that uses Panels to guide the user
through a form they must fill out. Each Panel contains different
controls, such as Text Boxes and Drop Down Lists. When the user clicks
the Next button, it sets all Panel.Visible to False and sets only the
current Panel that should be displayed to Visible = true.
My problem is that a lot of the time the panels just never appear. What
I think is going on, is that...

Hi,
I have one .net page which processes a form and then displays the
result. The coding which takes place in order to process the form
takes a while so I want to have some sort of display to the user.
So what I want is that as soon as the button has been clicked, the
Panel holding the form is hidden and then another panel is shown with
a gif image that looks like a loading image.

I have a aspx web page with several hidden(visible=false) panels on it.
Depending on the task the user is going to perform I show or hide the
appropriate panel. What I'm discovering is that my controls on the panels are
not firing their events if the panel was initially hidden when the page
loaded.
For instance, i have a panel with a button and a 'onclick' event defined.
The onclick will only work if the panel is intially visible when...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
