Submit Button with Validation Controls not working

Hi All,

A really puzzling phenomenon.

I develop to a Windows 2000 development server in VS 2003. I use Copy
Project to deploy the project to a production server.

The webpage I'm having trouble with has several validation controls in
a Form. On the development server, both IE and Firefox work fine. On
the production server, IE will trigger the normal validation messages.
However, once all validation passes, the Submit button no longer seems
to submit - nothing *seems* to happen when Submit is pressed.

I believe I've got around the problem for the moment by setting all
validation controls to ClientSide=Fals e.

Any ideas what could be happening and how I can troubleshoot the
problem?

Thanks

Ananda

Sorry for the length of this post. I have created a rather complex form which has a header/line item (parent and child records) structure. It's for an intranet. A screenshot can be seen here: http://www.drpt.virginia.gov/temp1.gif All the fields on this form have validation controls on them so they can not submit the form unless all...

Hi all, Has anyone been able to write some custom javascript on the onclick event of submit button to do certain things like disable submit button, only submit form once etc. This was a breeze in 1.1 since I could edit the .js file. Now in 2.0 I can no longer do this. Also, my code would have to be called after all client-side validation...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
