Hi Guys,
I'm really new to .Net development and need your advise on this.
Recently I've completed a web application using VB.net (Visual Studio .Net
2003). In the application whenever the user clicks the delete button, a
msgbox will appear prompting the user to confirm the deletion via the Yes or
Cancel button.
On my own machine (Win 2k IIS5), the msgbox appears without any issues.

Before I spend any money on Access 2003, is it co-habitable with Office XP?
Also, can I use the XP Developers Edition to package and deploy and Access
2003 project?

using Access 2003 Runtime, where do I get the Runtime?
I just purchased Office 2003 Professional. Is Access 2003 Runtime
included with that or not?

Hi,
I have a C# ASP.NET project in VS.NET and it used to build, debug and run
fine.
I had to disable IIS5.1 to run Java based code on JBoss for a month.
Now I re-inabled IIS and tried to run my C# project in debugger:
1) I can't build the project, getting a few compilation errors like:
- No overload for method 'Open' takes '13' arguments;
- Property, indexer, or event 'value' is not supported by the language....

1) Windows 2003 Server Standard
2) ASP.NET running in IIS5 Isolation mode (aspnet_wp.exe is alive and
kicking)
3) .NET Framework v1.1.4322 (updated by Windows update)
4) My application running on d:\myapp directory (not c:\Inetpub)

Hello,
My company recently aquired a product written in VB6.0 which neads
maintnance.
We have licences for VS 2003 and I am in the process if migrating the code
to .net but in the meantime I need to patch and compile the current VB 6.0
proyect.
How can I do this legally? I know I can emule VB 6.0 but the company does
not allow it.

All,
Not sure where else to go. I have: VS2005, XP SP2 Media Center, IIS5.1
Problem:
Apps developed (even simple "Hello WOrld") apps simply won't deploy properly
to either my local IIS instance or to a 2nd server W2003K server.
When I publish, create them as IIS apps, or copy, even after running
both/either the ASP2.) security tab or the web admin (asp based) manager
they will not enable properly.

User clicks a link that displays a customer card and financial stats (has a
lot of database calls). Every 5 times the user clicks the same page/link it
takes about 30 seconds (normal response time is <1 second) to display. Then
you can click 4 times with a normal response time and the 5th the repsone
time it is 30 seconds again. The page has exactly the same parameters every
time but there seem to occur some "locking" that stops the action...
