Hello All,
Is there any way to make this happen...
Say I want to make a table with 3 rows. The first row has two TableCells
each with a width of 300. The second row has one TableCell with the width of
600. The final row again has two TableCells each with a width of 300.
When I try and implement this, the table comes out with the first cells on
rows 1 and 3 as 600 and not 300 as set in the code.
Here's a brief example of what I'm...

I'm trying to create a user control that will control navigation through my site. It's sortof like Amazon.com, where there are tabs at the top with "submenu" buttons showing below the selected tab. The data that defines the tabs and submenus is stored in an XML file and I'm using nested repeaters to build them dynamically.
I've got it working pretty well, except...

Hi
Searching for a possibility to display some text with preserved white
space and line breaks, but with long lines being wrapped, I found this
CSS declaration, which I found helpful:
pre {
white-space: pre-wrap; /* css-3 */
white-space: -moz-pre-wrap; /* Mozilla, since 1999 */
white-space: -pre-wrap; /* Opera 4-6 */

Hello!
When I use putchar to fill up an entire screen (of 80x25) with text, it
seems to leave an empty line at the end, thus forcing me to scroll
upwards in to see the first line. This forces me to repositioning the
cursor to the first line, which costs computer power. I know the loss is
negligible, but it's more a matter of principle: how to prevent this
line-wrapping behaviour?

<hr style="height:1px"/does not fit because although a line looks
like it has 1 pixel with but there are empty spaces above and below
line. It can be seen if place two HR elements beside.
<hr style="height:1px"/>
<hr style="height:1px"/>
I tried also <div style="height:1px;font-size:1px;background-
color:black;"></divbut a line was 2 pixel thick :(

I have link buttons in a Gridview that, depending on the value in another
column (Not the Key column) will need to be disabled.
For example, (Column2 has link buttons)

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
