Manipulating image zoom within a page

Hi all,

I currently have an app which renders images onto a page by simply pointing
towards the path. What is the easiest/quickest/best way for me to render
these same images within a page but to change the page to allow zoom
control?

Regards
John.

Thanks in advance... I have an image control into which I load a .tif image, which loads fine... And when I select a rectangle to zoom down to , and click on a cmdButton ("ZOOM IN"), I zoom to selected rectangle as I expected, BUT ONLY when I run from within the .vbp. The cmdButton code is a 1 liner, namely: Me.imgMain.ZoomToSelection... If I create an executable, and perform the same thing, the image flashes once, showing me that the...

Hello everyone... If one has a <div> that is completely filled with a background-image; how does one style it so that the image *continues* to fill the <div> top-to-bottom, left-to-right; if the viewer adjusts the font-size on his browser? I have everything sized in em's, so that the actual <div> "box" resizes along with the text, but the background-image will not resize if the text is "zoomed". I can not find anything pertaining

Hi there I have an image on my ASP.Net page and i created a <p> tag that can be dragged around the screen.. I needed to get it so that when the <p> tag is over the image, whatever is inside, or behind (however you want to call it), only that part gets zoomed in... so i need the box and the image to always be the same original size and only when the box is placed over the image, the part of the image within the box will get zoomed.....

Hi all, Im a little new to ASP.NET. I'm looking to create an image viewer that zooms in, pretty common. But I need to draw a box on the 1:1 scale image and 'zoom in' on another picture box. The box outlining the zoom area would change in size according to the level of zoom of course. The help I need is how to get the target box to appear over the 1:1 scale image. I want it to be able to be dragged to a new location in the full

I want to allow my program users to: 1. Open a jpg inside of a panel control (PictureBox control inside Panel control ... PictureBox picture set to user's jpg file selection); 2. Zoom in and out on the jpg (change the picturebox size mode to zoom and scale the photo); 3. Move the jpg up, down, left right within a container control (using the MouseDown and MouseMove events, I change the location of the jpg); 4. Save the visible...

In MS Access image controls there's a property setting for "Size Mode" --> Clip, Zoom or Stretch. I don't see any similar property in an asp image control. When I have an image on a page, it seems to Stretch no matter what. If an image is displayed that has different proportions than the image control itself, the image is distorted. I need a "Zoom" setting (not to zoom in and out). How can this be done? Thanks, Keith

Hi all I need to do a image viewer, just to view and zoom pictures in jpeg. I do not need to edit or save the picture. I am sure, there are some controls already made. I am thankful for any comment on that ! Best regards Frank Uray

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
