Hi guys,
Is it possible to host a .net user control in word, excel or powerpoint just
as we would an ole control. We have a simple drawing .net user control, with
simple menu etc. We'd like to call up from word the various plug-in controls
and click and drag an area in word which will host our control. When we save

Hi!
I'm using the RTF2 Control from Lebans web site with MS Access 2000.
It's working very good. Now i want to create a letter with the
formated text of the RTF2 control in MS Word 2000, but it shows all
the code inside and not the formating ... I'm not using vba-code, i'm
making the letter by hand (as a serial letter in Word with the
Access-DB as data source).
How can i create a letter which looks like the report in Word? Is it

I am trying to create an user control with ms word functionality. I succeded
to create this control and it is functional in windows forms. I would like
to use it in html pages using <object ..> tag. I can embed my controls into
the web page easily until i do not reference word com object.
Does anybody has any ideas how to create a control whitch could use word com
object on client computer.

I need to display and allow the user to print a Word document from within a
C# WinForm application. I'm using the ActiveX Browser control. The Word
document displays correctly, but remains "locked" after the form and
application is closed. If I try to delete the document, the message "File in
use by Microsoft Word" is displayed. How do I correctly close and/or unload
the document?

If I embed an WebBrowser control on a WinForm I have the ability to
load any ActiveX containable object into that control using this
syntax:
webBrowser1.Url = new Uri(@"c:\myfile.doc");
Using this approach, I can load a MS Word document into the browser
and access the Word document object model like this:
object obj = webBrowser1.Document;

This is my first time trying to creaet and use a custome Web Control in a
Web Site project in ASP.NET 2.0 with VS 2005 and VB. I created the control
in a separate Web Control Library project. The original code for that
control was written in VS 2003 for .NET 1.1.
