Hmmm, didn't seem to work. I have set session.use_cookies = 1 and

I have a .NET (1.1 framework) application that is losing a
session variable on only a few PC's. The main page is
loading up in a frame in a Portal application. On the
Page_Load it stores an object with the user id and
password into the session.
The web page includes a set of links. When the user
clicks on a link, another page within this application is

i visit a page .... i read a sesssion-var . ... everythink works...... i
visit the page again..... error ... the sessionvar is null .... i visit
again .... null ... again .... it works ..... again ... it works ... again
..... null....... and so on and on ....
it does randomly work or not....

Can I do this?
I add a session var in C# and ultimatly want to pass it into a vbscript
client side activeX control. This is what I have so far but get " Object
Required:'name2' " error.
Can anyone suggest a btter way of passing a session var into a vbscript
function?

Hi
i've some web user controls in one folder and web pages in some other
folder.
and i've included header web user control in all my web pages.
and in that user control wrote code to get the logged in user details to be
displayed in header.
In login user control, the logged in userid was stored in a session.
