server.transfer error executing child request

I am doing a very simple Server.Transfer ("myPage.asp x", TRUE)
Locally on my machine and on the development server there are no
issues

Once I move it to the production server I get the message
"error executing child request"

I can't seem to find any resolution to this issue. Many others have
had this problem but their resolutions do not work for me.

I am accessing the OWC11.dll on the page I am transfering too. Not
sure if that helps.

thanks for all your help

Is there a way to redirect from an ASP.NET page to an ASP page without showing the ASP page's URL in the client's browser? This works perfectly with an HTML page, for example: path = "~/cp/test.htm" Server.Transfer(path, False) But with an .asp extension, the I get an HttpException, "Error executing child request for ~/cp/test.asp."

Error for Server.Transfer: Error: Error Executing Child Request MSDN: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;320439 Says to use Response.Redirect but get this error here: Error: The resource cannot be found. I would like to use Server.Transfer as it is a better performer, and need access to the text box controls from the original page after the page is directed.

When doing Server.Transfer I am getting the following error 'Error executing child request ' after I make the change in the web.config debug="true" to debug="false". When set to true the transfer works without issues but when false the error occures. In some of the cases I have managed to alter existing code to use Redirect but in some cases this is not practical without recoding a large number of pages that create a child object to be used...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
