Hi,
I am sending a file from the server as an email attachment. The file
is being attached no problem and sending the email, but I get an error
when I try to open it saying it is corrupt. Obviuosly, the file is
fine on the server, so the attachment code I am using must be
corrupting it, but I dont know what it is:
// send email with attachment
function emailAttachment($to, $subject, $message, $name, $email,

I have written a script that makes a telnet connection, runs various
commands, and returns the output. That was the easy bit :) However, to
close the session, I need to send ^] followed by quit. I've tried
sending chr(29), which is the ascii equivalent, but that doesn't seem to
work. Is there something I'm missing?
Any pointers would be much appreciated.
Thanks

next:
for example
msg = "Length is "

Is it possible to somehow alter a field in a mysql database by sending
an email to the server?
I have a script that sends out notification emails to an individual. He
wants to receive them continuously until he decides he has seen enough of
them. Then to stop receiving the emails he has to use his browser and go to
the web page that is sending him the emails where he clicks a button that
alters a field in a database that acts as a flag....

I'm running SQL Server 2000 SP2 transactional replication.
Periodically replication fails due to primary key errors. On
investigation I find that the offending transaction is attempting to
insert a duplicate of a recently replicated row (identical data
including the rowtimestamp, which is automatically generated in the
publishing database). My conclusion is that the distributor is
sending the same transaction twice. There is usually a...

Hi,
I am sending an email from an asp page. Besides sending an email to sender,
I am sending myself a BCC also. Out of 100 emails sent, about 5 recipients
received a blank email (no text in subject and body). The BCC of all these
emails that I sent to myself were fine. When I send email manually to these
5 recipients they receive it well.
I have pasted my code below. Can someone give me a clue as why this could be
happening? Is...

I am creating a simple server application, that will listen for
incoming mouse coordinates and then move the mouse accordingly. So
basically it's like a very simple VNC server without and screen
display. I have this basic part working. The problem is that response
time is really bad. It seems like the server is not receiving the data
fast enough to be able to move the mouse so that it appears to be in
sync with the movement on the client...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
