I have to share a variable between browser sessions.
One session for example changes the variable, the other sessions must
see the changes (get the new value instead of the original value)
it's not allowed to save the value in a database or to save it into a
file. It must be a kind of global server variable, changeable by every
session.

I need to split apart my web application into multiple projects to allow it
to be distributed in parts, but all of the projects need to work together
(ie. they need to share session information). Does anyone have any
suggestions or solutions to this problem?
Thanks,

I've read that you can save a session state variable created by an ASP page
into a db so that the value of the session state variable can be read/used
by an ASP.NET webform.
Question: Let's say the session variable is called "UserIsAdmin" and the
ASP page is the login page. When the person logs in as 'admin' it stores
the session variable as "True" in a db. How does the ASP.NET page that is
served up know whether the page requestor is...

The problem i'm facing is that i dont know how to point my aspx.vb files to
any dlls in the bin folder, no matter where i place the bin folder.
Nothing is stored on the IIS server, everything is on the network share.
When i create an application, i can change the codebehind to
src=file.aspx.vb, this finds the vb files. But how do i tell my...

I have an application which runs in a non-secure environment. I also have an
application that runs in a secure environment (both on the same machine). Is
there any way to share the session data for this?
Most of the site allows the user to add things to a cart (non-secure), once
they choose to check-out, I need this information which was stored in the
session to be read by the payment page(secured).
Hope this makes sense. It's probably...

We have 5 to 6 projects .net running on production, in which each one
has its own virtual direstory, however we need to add up two more and
link them all together so they can share same single session state. we
are doing this for some Authentication and Role identification
purposes.
We dont want to use any Db like storing session in SQL Server or
whatever, also we dont need to use niether encryption nor passing
parameters, because we will...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
