I have heard that projects developed in VB5 may work well in Win 98 or 2000
but sometimes have problems in NT. Is this so and how can this be avoided?

Has anyone else had this or a similar problem and is there a workaround?
This piece of code:
from time import gmtime, strftime
_log = _log + "\\" + strftime("%m%d%y", gmtime()) + ".log"
produces a file with the name 'today's date.log' on NT, but creates a file
called 'tomorrow's date.log' on Windows 98. I would really like to know
why this happens. Any help offered is very much appreciated.

Hello,
I am looking for a language to achieve lists of all NT users and groups of a
given NT domain on a Windows 2000 Server. It has to run within a webscript,
so vbscript with windows scripting host is considered first. But before I
dive into this, isn't it possible to do it with win32all?
An ideal result would be something like the listings one get while changing
file permissions on a file on a NT machine. I think, this extends too...

I want to install the NT 4.0 Option pack to install the IIS web
server. Does the option pack install to get the web server working on
my Windows NT workstation running SP6a work. I want this web server to
connect to a SQL Server which is running on this NT Workstation as

Simple Q: Does the .Net Framework run on Windows 95/98/Me and does
it run on Windows NT? I know that it does run on 2000 and XP. I

I'm try to Unload DB2 data from a table into a record sequential file
on NT. I can an unload on Mainframe, but it doesn't seem to be an
option in NT.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
