I'm trying to use the OVERFLOW property to make only part of a table
scrollable, but to no avail.
You can split a table into two tables, with your column headers in the
top table and your data in the bottom table. This allows you to scroll
trough lots of data with the header stationery, but of course then the
column widths vary and the header table doesn't align properly with the
data data.

I am trying to have a fixed top and side sections with scrolling content. Both
side sections have navigation links. The side provides external navigation and
the top provides internal navigation. The styles I have defined work fine until
I move to an internal link. When moving to the internal link the header vanishes.

I have a question:
I have a datagrid with paging (4 elements for page), header and footer
I set a fixed height: 600px
So the situation is (in a page with 5 elements)
6 rows (header + 4 elements + footer)
every with fixed height 100px, and this is ok
but in a page with 1 element (for example) I have
3 rows (header + 1 element + footer) every row is 200px height

I have been trying to do a CSS liquid layout imitating a frame, using
position: fixed for header, footer, and side navigation, and a fixed
background image. Page is valid HTML 4.01 Strict, and is at

Hello,
I am using the MSFlexGrd Control in VB5. I have 1 fixed row and one fixed
column. I am trying to do a sort when the user clicks a column in the FIXED
ROW. But when I capture the row number in the click event I get row = 1 if I
click on the FIXED row OR the actual row 1. How can I get the grid control
to tell me when the user has clicked on the FIXED row and not on row 1
(since they both produce row = 1 and I cannot tell them apart...

certain criteria. However they want a fixed header for it so they can
keep track of the criteria as they scroll since there can be upwards of

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
