Hi
I am trying to transfer to a different .ASPX page using Server.Transfer.
However, I get the following error:
"Error executing child request for .aspx."
Anyone know why?
Thanks for help.

Some time ago I posted a request for help with a problem I was having
sometime ago whereby a 404 error would result if any access to the
Querystring had been made before the Context.Rewritepath is called.

I have an ASP.Net application that references multiple projects. If an exception occurs in the startup project I can see what line the error occurs on and the source code, if the error occurs in another project I get the error below. It looks like Visual Studio does not have permission to read the source code, but I gave the local ASPNET user full control to my source code and web application directory. We have another computer with the same...

Hi all. I am using W2K3, .NET2 on a machine running AD and Exchange. I
started getting the message below last week. I googled the error and not
much was returned, but I did find this;
http://forums.asp.net/918725/ShowPost.aspx
I tried both items in the forum and it works for a few hits then it happens
again!
Anyone have the same problem? How do I fix this?

I developed on a Win2K3 Server with VS 2005
Published a web app to my local drive.
Copied that folder to a Win2K3 Server. Configured a new virtual
directory
Moved the files there.
Modified the config file so debug=false
Then tried to run it. There are basically two pages in the app. The

I have a big .NET 2.0 Web Application written in VB.
One page passes a reference to context to a class where the processing is
done. The class uses context.session, context.request context.application
during processing. Everything works fine, as long as not more than 1 user is
on the server.
Under conditions unknown to me, this class looses the reference to
Context.Request, Context.Application context.Session and other objects.
It occurs,...

I have a directory on my site that I keep a bunch of text files in (this

of these files in an HttpApplicationState variable as a SortedList. When I
add or modify a file in this directory, I want to delete this
HttpApplicationState variable. I tried to do this using the following lines

I am having problems getting a gridview to bind to custom objects under any
non-full trust level.
I created a test project to verify what I am seeing isn't a side effect of
other code in my project and I get the same errors there:
Exception Details: System.Security.SecurityException: That assembly does not
allow partially trusted callers.

The major complaint I have about Python is that the packages
which connect it to other software components all seem to have
serious problems. As long as you don't need to talk to anything
outside the Python world, you're fine. But once you do, things
go downhill. MySQLdb has version and platform compatibility
problems. So does M2Crypto. The built-in SSL support is weak.
Even basic sockets don't quite work right; the socket module...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
