I am trying to create a grid on a form that looks like the 'Split
Transaction' grid in Quicken - it allows drop down controls in various cells
of grid to make a selection, and then stores the text of the drop down
list/combo boxes in the grid.
I know how to use hidden combo/list boxes that display when a user clicks on
a cell that is setup with the drop down button and event. However, when the
user makes a selection, the ID (bound...

Dear Experts,
We are currently using True DB Grid 7.0 with VB6 on Windows 2000
platform. Our objective is to display Excel like formatted data (in
rows and columns), allow users to perform cut/copy and paste
operations on the selected range of cells and, lastly to get data
entered by the users in different cells for further processing.
Now the users report that this grid control is difficult to use and
the behaviour(in terms of user...

I have a grid with a select button. I went to turn off AutoPostBack and
there is no such attribute. Is there any way to make a grid behave as would
a listbox and not autopost back upon the selection?
Thanks,

I need to make a simple grid in which the user can cut and paste the
contents of a region of cells from this simple grid to excel.
I thought about ganging a bunch of textboxes (1 textbox = 1 cell)
together which would work for me but I cannot cut and paste a
collection of cells to excel using this approach.
Any ideas where to go next? I know I can buy such a capability and
have done so in the past but I would like to write it in...

Hello all,
I'm very new to asp.net and very green with programming in general. I
did however take some VB in college.
Anyway, here is my issue. I'm trying to set up a web application where
an individual can make a selection from a data grid view. From that
selection I want to place the value in a variable, then inject that
variable into SQL string, which is a attached to a SQLDataSource
object. From there the query is ran against...

Hello,
Is it possible w/ASP.Net to set the property of the radio button control to
'read-only' after the user has made their selection before hitting an
'submit' button? Think of a multiple choice question, in our case it's
'Accept', 'Not Accept' or 'Pending' in a grid column. There are multple rows
in the grid maybe 2, 3 or even 10 rows and we want to make it so that the
user, when they select 'Accept' in say the second row that the...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
