I added a label server control in my aspx file. In the code behind, the IDE
does not generate the corresponding object like it does with buttons and
other objects.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to force the IDE to re-generate the
corresponding objects?
Appreciate your input.

I know that the Literal control will not render a <span> tag so I can not
format its text. Other than this, what is the difference betwen the Literal
control and the LiteralControl Control? How about a LiteralControl and a
Label?
Other than the lack of being able to format the Literal control's text, I
don't see much of a difference in the documentation.
TIA,

I am rotating some text is some label controls. In the one place I use it it
works fine. In the other place I use it I can't figure out the syntax. I
don't really understand the event. Where it works fine, it seems to fire
when the form changes visibility. Here is the code.
Private Sub lblP1JoyUp_Paint(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As
System.Windows.Forms.PaintEventArgs) Handles lblP1JoyUp.Paint
If lblP1JoyUp.Visible = True Then

I have a label control that will be filled with text at runtime. The
length of the text will vary, but the label must stay the same size. Is
there a way to set the font size of the text such that it completely
fills the label?
For example, if the text is "Santa Claus" the font size might have to be
130 points to fill up a 637x476 label, where if the text is "Once upon a
midnight dreary / while I pondered weak and weary / over many a...

Hi, I just want to make sure I'm not missing something obvious.
VB.Net controls like the CheckBox are implemented with a label
attached to it. This is very handy. But the TextBox control has no
implementation with a built-in attached label. You have to separately
layout your TextBox and Label controls on a form. It's not a huge
deal, but it would be handy if each TextBox control was automatically
paired with its Label control.
Is...

Hi,
I have two questions related to the Label control.
How do i prevent the label from expand the canvas into 2 lines (word wrap)
??
At the moment i set AutoSize to false (to prevent the word wrap from
happening) and Anchor to Left, Right (to enable the with autosize).
How do i prevent a tool-tip from happening if the text is to large to fit in

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
