I'm trying to dynamically build several linkbuttons and
wire them up to a method called OnLinkClick . . .
For the life of me, I don't understand why the code below
isn't firing the event.
LinkButton lbBC = new LinkButton();
phBreadCrumb.Controls.Add(lbBC);
lbBC.Font.Size = 11;
lbBC.CssClass = "lnkBtnBreadCrumbProperties";

I have been struggling with creating
dynamic tables
populated with rows and cells
the top row has one cell with a label
the next row has four cells with a label each
the last row has 4 cells each with a checkboxlist control.
Is there a book that would outline the basics of dynamic building?
Have any of you done something like this?

Hey guys,
I am working on a web custom control that basically draws a table (ASP
Table) with a few child controls in the cells.
I have a command button inside one of these cells. The problem I am running
into is that I cannot get the click event of this object handled. I have
tried wiring the event with "AddHandler" among other things and that seems
not to work neither.

Hi Group,
I have an aspx form with a variable number of buttons added dynamically,
with id's like b01, b02, b03...
Whenever I click one of these buttons, the form is posted back.
I need to find out which of the buttons triggered the postback *in the
Page_Load* - here I have some code that needs to know which button was
clicked so it will generate different output for the page.

I have a series of dynamic link buttons created based upon a datareader. I've
added a click event and it calls the sub ok:
example: "while loop through the reader"
Dim ltrCtrl As New LiteralControl
Dim lbtnCtrl As New LinkButton
ltrCtrl.Text = "<br>"
lbtnCtrl.Text = "WE: " & dtrCal(10).ToString
lbtnCtrl.ToolTip = dtrCal(10).ToString & " these events"
& dtrCal(1)
lbtnCtrl.ID = "wecc" & i.ToString

I have a page that contains a number of link buttons that are used for
making selections. I load my LinkButtons during the Page_PreInit event and
they render fine but then I need to make a change to one of these
LinkButtons depending on the selection.
I am using the Command Event and passing a key in the Command.Name field.
From within this even handler, I am clearing my LinkButtons and then
re-redering and marking with a different...

hi all,
I have this seemingly simple problem. I have lost a lot of time on it
though.
When a user selects a value from a dropdownlist (static control) a
dynamic control is generated. I have to create the dynamic controls
in the OnInit stage of the lifecycle. Since data from static controls
is not yet available in the OnInit stage I can't know what dynamic
control I have to create.

I load a dynamic control once a button is clicked. In the control is
another button. However, I can't get its click event to fire. Here's
the pattern:
Page1.aspx
---------
SomeButton_Click()
{
Control control = LoadControl("mycontrol.ascx");
control.ID = "thecontrolID";

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
