How to get log off to work in a custom control

Hi I have a custom control that I am using as a menu on several web pages. I
want the hyperlink to close any window the user is on, just wondering if this
can be done with java script and how. I tried
<script language="javas cript" event="onclick( )" for="Hyperlink" >
window.close();
</script>
but does not work.
THanks.

We have a data entry application written within Framework 1.0 that contains 20+ custom user controls. The controls overlay each other so that only one custom control is visible at a time. What is the best way to keep the cursor from jumping to another non-visible control when the user tabs past the (currently designated) last control on the form. I've had some luck using the Leave event but the last visible control can change...

Hi I've created a new custom Web control. I have tried to customize the assembly attribute TagPrefix . However, each time I drag my custom control onto a form, it's TagPrefix is still "cc1". What am I missing here My control is nested within two namespaces: for example, OuterNamespace and InnerNamespace. Taking that into account, the AssemblyInfo.cs of my custom control's solution contains the following additional lines .. using...

When using a custom control. In order to check and see if values have changed one has to implement the IPostBackDataCollection interface. The values returned for the control seem to be simply a string with comma delimited values. For example, if I were to render two text boxes. One with the Value Terry and the Other with the Value 'Burns' I would get the following value Terry,Burns.

Hi Iam new to MS .Net technology just getting along with it....I created a custom control ,which takes in a query and displays the data in a tabular format....something similar to a datagrid. Since its a custom Control I drag and drop and use it in my Pages. I overload the render method of my Custom Control and I pass the data that is to be displayed. Now there is a requisite I have to add a Control ( Say for ex a Dropdown List box)...

I'd like to get some real world feedback from developers out there who have to work with the "design" folks to integrate look and feel stuff into a vs.net web project. A lot of designers use web page design specific products such as Macromedia Dreamweaver when building sites. What happens when you as a vs.net developer have to work with a designer to integrate their look and feel into your vs.net project? Most of the designers I know...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
