I have an XML string in a database that I would like to display using XSLT.
All of that works like a champ, but I can't figure out how to embed the XML
inside an ASPX page.
For example, I have an ASPX page with a Header User Control and a Footer
User Control. I'd like to put the transformed XML right in the middle. It
seems like this is something that should be doable, but I can't quite
figure it out. Is anyone out there doing this,...

Ok, I really need some help here....
I have an ASPX page, that contains a save button. It also has an IFRAME
that has a tabstrip and multipage control. What I am trying to do is to
allow the save button to be visible regardless the page that is loaded in the
multipage. This will give the user a single place to save the data that does
not change.
Here is what I need help with....

It might be me but...
I dont seem to get a Page_Load event when a opening an ASPX in an iFrame. I
do geta Page_Load event when an item on the ASPX (inside the iFrame) is
clicked but then IsPostBack=False by now!. The ASPX is opened via client
side script (into an iFrame) inside a .HTM file (as ASPX postback causes
problems in a modal internet explorer dialog if not in an iFrame!)
Anyone know how to get around this - i need to...

Hello all,
I have a classic ASP web app that requires some new reporting features
that I have written in ASP.Net (a .net web application that makes use
of a .net webservice on the same box). To incorporate the ASPX page
inside the classic ASP page, I added an IFRAME to the ASP page and
referenced the ASPX as the src attribute. Everything seems to work
okay when hitting the web app by itself, but when using the .net web
app via the ASP...

hi,
i am currently investigating a bug in a complex code project. unfortunately
i cannot ask the developer having written it as he has left the company.
the thing is: a .cs-code-behind-file of an .aspx-page interacts with
client-side jscript-code. the .cs-file is sent to the client as to be seen
inside a sniffer. when taking a look at the original code one only can see
the definition of the variables. looking inside the sniffer trace...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
