Put div tags around it with a fixed width and height and set the
overflow on 'auto'

Something like

<div style="width:40 0px; height:400px; overflow:auto;" >

.... your controls go here ...

</div>

Use an <IFrame></IFrame> Tag and display a second page in the frame.

IE:

<IFrame framespacing="0 " border="0" frameborder="0" width="200" height="200"
src="MyPage.asp x"></IFrame>

Hello, It might have been asked before but since I could not find a reference here's my qustion: I want a liquid layout similar to this one: http://www.alistapart.com/d/negativemargins/ex5.htm but with the footer fixed at the bottom and the content in a scrollable area.

I'm trying to do something seemingly very simple, but it's brought me close to crushing my head on the keyboard. All I want is a table where the head row is fixed and the body columns below are scrollable (with the ordinary scrollbars, no less). Whatever I try, the columns in the head and the body aren't aligned; the widths are computed independently which gives a completely ragged look. Michael --

I have a Page in which I dynamically create an HtmlTable at run-time. The problem is this table might be quite long. I'd like to create it within a separately scrollable area so that the user does not have to scroll the whole page to see it all. How can I do this ?

Hello I would need some advice, even just speculations... A customer of ours insists on a couple of customer specific design features for our existing multi-customer web application: - A top header with a dropdown menu which does not scroll when the page is scrolled. - A lower detail part of the screen (table) where the headers stay, and

Hello, I have this idea for a "normal" css layout, header, scrollable area, footer, but I want the footer "static", in the sense that it should stay at the bottom of the window, and have the same width, no matter what height or width the browser window is. I've tried the following, but neihter Firefox, nor IE6, wants anything to do with it:

I was wondering if in Visual Basic.net if Microsoft has made it any easier to scroll within a form. In VB 6 to do that required 2 picture windows that would in effect simulate a scrollable viewport. I was wondering what components or etc are available in VB.net that would allow this?? Thanks in advance, Les

Hi all, In my project I have a control (described in an earlier post) which basically consists of three "subcontrols": One big area where the vital data is displayed (scrollable, since it will usually be larger than the window containing the parent control), a time strip on top of it, and a resource list on the left. Long story short - when someone scrolls the scrollable data control, the time strip and resource lists are hooked to keep...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
