Hello,
I created an application where the users need to download files. I have the
list of the files stored in a database and I present the list to download in
a Datagrid. Here comes my question.
How can I make it possible that the user selects multiple files and
downloads them at once instead of clicking on every file to download?
With the file input control you can choose only one file at a time to
upload.
Is there a way to do an...

I have a asp.net app where a user will need to download multiple files at
once.
Below is some sample code I'm using to download a single file which works
perfectly, however, rather than a single file, I need to download all the
image files for a single order being processed by the user. Is it possible
to download a batch or group of files?
Thanks.

Hi
Sorry for posting this again. Requirement is to allow the user to
download multiple files at once from browser. User will be displayed a
grid on the browser which will list the various files available on the
web server for download and a check box beside each for selecting the
file.
I have received replies that this can be done by an ActiveX control/
Applet on the client side which will download each selected item in turn

Hello all,
Thanks in advance for any replies...
Now, my question is: Is it possible to do a multiple files download for a
single response event on an aspx page? If there is, please give me some
directions/sample code or anything.
On my web application, I have a CheckBoxList that shows all the files. The
user will check (select) the files to download, then click on the "Download"
button. A SaveAs dialog pops up to allow the user to...

I have a situation where I need to download multiple files in a vb.net
application.
To speed up the process, I am trying to download multiple files at one
time looping through each of the files and launching them in their own
thread (code below). The problem is that when there are hundreds of
files to download, it launches them all at the same time and half
don't get downloaded. Any idea how I could control it to launch say 4

Hello all,
I have been trying to determine the best way to do this, but can't
seem to get any solution to work exactly the way I want. The scenario
is that I have some xml files being placed on a network drive of one
of our servers. I needed to copy this files to my web server to do
processing. Ideally I was going to write a server service that
monitor wold monitor that directory so that when a new file appeared
it was automatically...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
