I have been searching the web like mad for a solution to my SMTP problem. I
am using Windows Server 2003 and ASP.NET 2.0 w/ C# to send out e-mails from a
web site I have created to the members of my organization. I think my problem
is incorrectly setting the settings on my server or an authentication

Hello!
I have a .NET service that sends out about 400 e-mails every month. The
e-mail is plain text, with a hyperlink. Some e-mails appear to be bouncing,
though they actually are delivered!
I am using VS.NET 2003 and system.web.mail to send the e-mails.

Hi.
I would like to let users send bug reports or other messages to me.
Maybe the easiest way to send e-mails from my application is just use
the default e-mail agent by executing a link
mailto://mymail@domail.com.
But this only works if the user has configured Outlook or something.
Many users use web-based mails here so if I do so, Outlook Express's a
new account wizard will pop-up. Futhure more this reveals user e-mails.

I am experiencing an inconsistency with System.Net.Mail.
I have a web form on a site. The form gets filled, and one copy gets
sent to the recipient (info@domain.com). This works just fine.
However, I want a summarized e-mail (with slightly different content) to
get sent to the sender, and this fails unless the “sender”has their
domain name on the same server.

Hi, you code works fine , but i have a trouble reading the mails talking about "undelivery mail" you know when you get a mail when you send a mail to a wrong address.
When the loop try to read the system manager message (mail) it always get an exception talking about a Unable to cast a COM object 'System.__ComObject' to the inteface 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.MailItem'.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
