I'm trying to display a word document inside a web page, but everytime I do
I get this error:
Error Type:
Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A0046)
Permission denied: 'CreateObject'
Does anybody know the correct way to do this? I don't want to link to a
document, but rather display a word file inside the asp page.

Greetings.
I'm working on a program that will "descramble" words. Think of a word
scramble game where there is a list of characters, and several blank
spaces to denote the word(s) that you are to come up with from the list.
i.e.(* denotes a space): _ _ _ _ _ * _ _ _ _ _ _
characters: .hwodlelrlo
answer: hello world.

I have some servlet-generated tabular data that I need to present, so I'm
using an HTML Table. In some cases, it can be quite large. I'm flushing
the servlet output every N lines to push the data to the browser as it
generates, and I've used "table-layout: fixed" for the table's CSS class.
It works pretty well in Netscape (7.1 and higher) - the table is drawn
pretty much as the rows are received by the browser. However, Internet...

Below is a section of the code I use to open Word with late binding, insert
text at the selected bookmarks, and make Word visible. Everything works
fine. However, I also have some Word check boxes, that I cannot figure out
how to make 'checked'. I am not allowed to alter the layout of the form; it
must be a check box. Up until now, I have simply required users to check
the box themselves, but now I'm opening up four Word forms that all...

Can anyone point me to a white paper discussing the advantages / disadvantages to using “grid layout” vs. “flow layout” on webforms? I’m looking to address performance issues in particular.

How do I do that? Turning the layout from the customerID-number "10205" into looking like "10 205"? I've just incresed it from four digits to five, and it looks like this: lsvItem.SubItems(1) = Right("0000" & CStr(rs!customerID), 5), but how do I affect the layout?

C takes input character by character. I did not find any Standard Library
function that can take a word as input. So I want to write one of my own
to be used with "Self Referential Structures" of section 6.5 of K&R2. K&R2
has their own version of <getwordwhich, I think, is quite different
from what I need:
<getwordwill have following properties:
1.) If the word contains any number like "beauty1" or "win2e" it will

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development projectplanning, coding, testing, and deploymentwithout human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
