Problem creating FileInfo Array

Good morning,
I've the following file system :

C: -> HTML -> Aziende -> Azienda_1 -> a.jpg
-> Azienda_2 -> a.jpg
...
-> Azienda_N -> a.jpg

my desire is to create an array of fileinfo containing the a.jpg ,
a.jpg , ... , a.jpg
in a way that I could bind this to a datagrid to show some properties
of these files.
I tried the following but it is not ok

FileInfo[] fi ;
DirectoryInfo dirInfo = new DirectoryInfo(" C:\HTML\Aziende ");
DirectoryInfo[] di = dirInfo.GetDire ctories();
int i = 0;
fi = new FileInfo[1000];
foreach (DirectoryInfo dri in di)
{
fi[i++] = dri.GetFiles("a .jpg")[0];
}

the error is System.IndexOut OfRangeExceptio n
could you help me to solve this problem and to crate the array of
FileInfo types ??

Thanks ...
Antonio

rather than FileInfo[] fi, use ArrayList or another collection object. They
are dynamic and can grow the more objects you have, and can hold any object
type (FileInfo included)...

ArrayList fi = new ArrayList();
string fileName = "a.jpg";

foreach ( DirectoryInfo dri in di )
{
if ( dri.GetFiles(fi leName).Count > 0 )
{
fi.Add ( dri.GetFiles(fi leName)[0] );
}
}

I have a problem where when I run the PHP code offline, there are no errors produced and the code runs as expected. However when I uploaded the same script and run it, it says the headers have already been sent. The script is for a "downloader" type script, where the user clicks on a file link (to the PHP script) using $_GET to pass the selected files ID to the script, and the information about the file is read out from a database, also...

I have created a windows service that reads emails from a drop directory and moves them to the appropriate mail folder every 15 seconds. I can move, rename and delete the files as needed, up until the CDO.DropDirectory.GetMessages() method is called. At this point, the files are locked until I shut down the service. After processing and delivery, I need to be able to delete all the files in the drop directory. I can delete them via...

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. I am writing a C# program that checks to see if the URLs of favorites/bookmarks are still good. The problem I am having is that while the program is checking the URLs, the text in a label on the current window will not update until after all URLs are checked. I think the Form/Window is frozen while the http requests are occuring. Does anyone know of a way I can update the Form in real...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
