websites with different IP address -Questions

Hi All,
I have 2-3 websites with different IP address running on one IIS.
And when trying to create a web project on IIS i get the error:-

Unable to create Web Project 'WebApplication 1' the file path does not
correspond to the URL .The two need to map to the same server location.
HTTP 404:Object Not found.

Can i run different IP addresses on one IIS server?
Any ideas how to go around this?

Hi. I have a difficult problem: An array contains several different URLs. I want to load these websites in parallel by using a HTTP-Request. How can I do this in PHP? Up to now I did this with an external Python script because Python offers process control functions. But in PHP only exist restricted possibilities for using threads / processes.

Hi all, I'm posting this to comp.lang.php and comp.protocols.tcp-ip. I'm quite new to php. I made a simple test page in php with "_SERVER" and "_SERVER" server variables. I uploaded my page in tripod.co.uk as they provide free php hosting. The above variables gave me an ip address and port number. To double check, I tried few other websites such as www.whatismyip.com and http://checkip.dyndns.org. The first one gave me a different ip...

I setup FormsAuthentication on a couple websites where it has been working as expected for a long time. I used this code to setup the same type of authentication on a new website I am working on and the Cookie Name is not getting setup the same way. In my Web.config file, I use the following basic settings on both the old and new websites: <authentication mode="Forms"> <forms name="SiteAuth" loginUrl="Logon.aspx" protection="All"

I am an independent ASP.NET/Flash developer. I currently have about 15 ASP.NET, Flash, and mixed websites that I created and manage. Because of various factors I am thinking about selling the rights of my websites, including domain name, source code, rights to profit off all future enhancements/development, etc... Any suggestions as to how I can go about this? Has anyone done anything like this? Thanks!

I am using windows authentication, and have changed everything I can think of to full control, even the Everyone, the vs...

I have a Windows Server 2003. I am trying to run multiple websites on the server. I am using host headers to run the websites on only one ip address. Before anyone says this is an iis issue and in the wrong forum, Please note that I have tested all the host header settings with a simple hello world html file and everything works great. I get a runtime error that tells me to change custom errors to "Off". The main problem is that custom...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
