Copying Files via HTTPS

Is there any way to force traffic from a particular Class C IP Subnet to the
Cluster Controller. The main reason I am asking is that we have a custom
ASP.NET Application that is hosted on the a Microsoft Application Center
2000 SP2 Cluster running on Windows Server 2003. This application uploads
new content and articles to another ASP.NET Website that is also hosted on
the cluster. We need to ensure that all files are uploaded to the cluster
controller for proper replication. In the WEB.CONFIG file we tried using a
UNC Name \\ServerName\Sh arename for the FileSavePath Variable that controls
the upload directory location. This does not work and we are only able to
use a Local Path C:\foldername.. .

Have you ever ran into this issue and do you know of any workarounds. .

Thanks

I believe you can map the network location to local(e.g.: V:) in order to do
so. Just make sure the ASPNET/NetworkService account have appropiate right
for write content to the volume.

Hello, I am trying to find a way to create a scheduled task or service that will copy my local profile folders under "Documents and settings" to a network drive. This would allow me to restore my settings if my profile became tampered with or corrupt. Is there any sample code available out there? -Robert

We debug a VB.Net App that uses compact framework to a DAP Windows CE.Net device. When I debug I would like to only have the EXE copied down. Right now it copies any referrences as well and checks the .NET CF version. The first message I receive is: Files in the package 'netcf.all.wce4.armv4.cab' are more recent on the device than on the development computer. Consider upgrading to the latest version. Hi All, I have been trying to configured WebDAV on our current IIS server as an alternative to FTP and have had some mixed success but I've hit a brick wall with one problem. The server (Windows 2003 IIS 6) resides in the DMZ. I have created a virtual directory and directed it to a folder stored on the server. Integrated Windows Authentication and Basic Authentication has been enable along with SSL. I have added a handful of user account...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
