Cross Page Posting in .Net 2.0

Hmmm

Maybe someone can help with this either
A) I am missing something Big ,
B) I am missing something small,

Either way I am missing something

I have 2 ASPX Pages VB in .Net 2.0 Beta 1

I have a control (Button1 lets say)in a datagrid in a view, inside a
multiview, inside a Master page, I set the post url to another page
within the application , HOW THE HECK Do I EASILY get both the name of
the control that posted a value AND the value, ok so after I typed
that Duh I can get the value with a Request.Form, but How do I get
button1 (the names might be different)

So , just inside a a GridView the page the control is posted to would
be
Something like this GridView1$ctl02 $SCREWY (Where SCREWEY is the
button name) now this gets significantly longer and uglier inside a
view then inside a multiview , you get the point.

The PreviousPage.Fi ndcontrol seems to be a little lacking (unless I am
using it wrong)

Any help here ?

THe hink is I may not know the name of the control being passed, as
this page is to be able to be posted to from one of 5 or so different
grid in different views on just about as many pages.

Here's what I want do: Have a main daemon which starts up several threads in a Boss-Queue structure. From those threads, I want them all to sit and watch a queue. Once an entry goes into the queue, grab it and run a system command. Now I want to make sure that system command doesn't hang forever, so I need some way to kill the command and have the worker thread go back to work waiting for another queue entry.

From dbobject i derive about 100 classes, thy all are located in Project

Hello, friends, I tried to do cross-page posting, i.e., in firstpage.aspx I used action="secondpage.aspx". Since I am using asp.net 1.1, so it always goes back to firstpage.aspx aftern submitting firstpage.aspx. I then tried in page_load of firstpage.aspx:

Check on target page, I see Request.Form is nothing and Request.HttpMethod is GET (not POST). But if I don't close the browser, try to enter the URL of source page and press the button on source page again, I see, on target page, Request.Form is source page and Request.HttpMethod is POST. Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
