saving aspx files as utf-8

hi,

I am working with utf-8 encoded aspx files.But in visual studio.net 2003
when I make somechanges to a utf-8 aspx file and click save , it reverts the
encoding to another (win-1254) format.I have to use "save with encoding"
command in save dialog to succsessfully save it again in utf-8 format.I have
tried choosing this dialog every time.

I could not find an setting for default encoding for saving files. Is there
any setting that I have not been noticed.

How do I load and save a UTF-8 document in XML in ASP/VBS? Well, the loading* is not the problem actually -- the file is in UTF-8, and understood correctly -- but once saved, the UTF-8 is replaced by what seems to be iso-8859-1 (which Flash doesn't understand, but that's another problem). Any help greatly appreciated. * Something like this...

I need to generate HTML files based on the some codes. One HTML file per code. I have the link (ex:http://123.234.345.456/WebPages/GetTestData.aspx?SomeCode=25), by passing the code as parameter I will get the page displayed. But I don't want to display it, instead save those files in one of the network directories that can be accessed by our third party vended web based application. How can I do this accessing and saving HTML files a...

Hello, I am saving a csv file through an ASP.NET web application. The data is obtained from a database and saved to the local users machine. I am using the Response objects methods of Addheader and ContentType. It works fine on my machine to save the file, however on another machine browser(Internet Explorer), it prompts to save the aspx page. When I say to save the aspx page, it then opens up the 'save dialog box', and saves the

Hi In asp.net 2.0 an aspx files .cs file is a partial class and all works fine, however, I thought I’d be able to create another class file, call it a partial class and have that compile and load as a 3rd partial class. This would be handy so i can generate standard code into one of the partial classes, while having my custom code untouched

I have classic asp files (IIS6) that need to be saved in UTF-8 format. I save a file with Notepad using SAVE-AS & UTF-8 format. If I reopen the file using Notepad and bring up the save-as dialog is defaults to UTF-8, which is good. But after the file is modified and saved using Visual Interdev the format switches back to ANSI format, which causes some international characters to display as little boxes in the browser. I found one...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
