Hi,
I am trying to get cdo.message working on my home development machine,
however, when I send it it appears to get stuck in the queue and never
actually gets sent.
If I don't have a domain SMTP set (either alias or remote) then I get an
error on page. But if I set these, the email just sits on the queue. I have
been trying to work it out from other posts and forums, aspFAQ etc but with
no joy.

Hello all,
<SIGH> I'm soooooo sick and tired of getting spam e-mails. I'm sure that
part of the reson for this is that my e-mail address is publicly available
on my website, ready to be picked by e-mail harvesting programs.
I tried to thwart them by adding a REMOVE_THIS in my e-mail address
(username@REMOVE_THISispname.net), but the e-mails have not stopped. As for
NG's, I have the return address blocked in a similar fashion.

I've set up the virtual smtp server on my IIS 5.1 like so:
1. Assign IP address to "All Unassigned", and listen to port 25.
2. Access Connection granted to "127.0.0.1".
3. Relay only allow "127.0.0.1".
4. Authentication: "Anonymous access" only.
5. Outbound connection listen to TCP 25.

Hello experts! I'm trying to send mail from my C# Asp.Net webpage. I
used the code samples at www.systemnetmail.com but it still won't send.
I think the problem is on the iis or exchange server side but I can't
find any tutorials on how to configure the server(s). Any good links
for this?

Is there a way in the pylirc module to either (a) get it to stop
listening for a period of time, or (b) clear the queue of any stored
up commands? I have a script that starts mplayer, and I use my remote
while I'm running mplayer. The shell script waits
(subrpocess.Popen.wait()) for the mplayer process to complete, but
then it always runs through all the keypresses I've been sending
mplayer.
