Server side and client side actions on one button in ASP.NET
I am stuck. How do I find a start to a solution.
After checking all fields in a form I want to save changes in the database,
open a new window without toolbar with a fixed size and close the existing
web window. Or change the web window to above. The new window is a Flash
application where you can not use back and forward arrows.
I use VB.NET in ASP.NET.

Over the weekend, I am installing a website on a laptop so our sales staff
can give a demonstration on Monday at a potential client site. Things are
not working as expected. I'm hoping what's wrong will be apparent from the
symptoms below.
I created a virtual directory beneath the Default Web Site using the wizard.
I have set the execute permission on the Default Web Site (and directories
beneath it) to Script. If I run iisstart.asp in...

Hi all,
I am running a VS 2003 .NET project on my client machine (Win 2000 SP4,
..NET framework 1.1), running an ASP.NET application on a remote web server
(Win 2000 Server, IIS 6.0, .NET framework 1.1).
The application implements a Progress Bar webcontrol, that pops up in a
window, using the HttpHandler interface, on the event of a button click. The
handler's process request routine reads the status of the progress by
querying the...

Here is my situation:
I have an aspx file stored in a resource file. All of the C# code is
written inline via <script runat="server"tags. Let's call this page
B. I also have page A that contains some javascript code that calls
window.open. I pass the resource url of page B to Page A's window.open
call. Page B is then loaded and executed but none of the server-side
code is rendered. If I view the source of the page, the code (and page...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
