Compilation in c generally has four phases
1. Preprocessing
2. Compilation
3. Assembly
4. Linking.
If I use a flag that will not link the code, order of compilation is not an
issue, right? I am not that familiar with compilers so I am not sure. It
seems to me that it would not make a difference as to *which* file was
compiled *when*. Dependencies are only an issue during linking?

Hi
One of my applications need to upload some data to some secured sites, using
SFTP. This is to be done dynamically. So I'm creating a batch file on the fly
and calling a script file(.txt), using the process class to start the
execution of that file. But, the process is remaining in the started state,
and the browser is not responding after that.
The same batch file, I'm able to run from widows appli. What may be the
problem.

I have an application that consists of about 100+ pages/usercontrols
combined and when I have batch=true or not defined I get a lost of session
once the compilation cycle happends to compile all of the pages. Log back
off and back in and now I am cool to run the application. I have defined in
my web.config file that batch=false in the compilation tags and now my
application is good to go and now the session state is lost. I think this...

I'm having some issues figuring out how to complete certain tasks

I have a mixed solution -most of its projects are in C# and some are in
C++?MFC.
Problem is that when I compile the solution with batch build the MFC files
end up wit compilation errors, but if I compile them personally everything
is OK.
One more note- the MFC project is independent on any other project.
Can some advise please?
