Style tag not effecting links in paging from datagrid

I have a style tag:

<style type="text/css">
<!--
a:link {color: #ff6600; text-decoration: underline; }
-->
</style>

....that preceeds my datagrid that has paging objects, but when i look
at the numbered links , only one link (# 4) has an underline, while
the others are still not effected.

Hello, I've got an ASP app. I have a simple datagrid. If I don't use column templates I can easily set up the datagrid to use paging by creating a PageIndexChanged event and putting this code in it... DataGrid1.CurrentPageIndex = e.NewPageIndex; DataGrid1.DataBind(); This works fine. But when I then use column styles for the datagrid using Labels in the item template slot, when I click the next page link at the bottom of the datagrid,...

Hi I have a datagrid which is put inside a div tag to make it scrollable. I need to page the datagrid. The page numbers appear at the bottom of the datagrid and has to be scrolled down completely to see the page number links. The page number should always be visible outside the scroll bar. I'm trying to create a table dynamically below the datagrid with all the paging links. In the ItemCreated event of the datagrid, I have something...

I've found several posts on the question that I'm about to ask but have found that all link to a page on a website requiring a subscription. The problem I'm having is that in the paging row of a DataGrid I'd like to display both the "1, 2, 3,..." style and the "next | prev" style. It looks like I'm going to have to resort to using the DataGrid's automatic paging for the "1, 2, 3,..." style and add the "next | prev" style above the...

Hi. I already have a datagrid where I'm using paging. I have a stored procedure that fills a temp table with 200-500 rows and then sends back 10 records at the time. When I go to page 2 the SP fills the temp table again and returns rows 10-19. The temp table is dropped after each call to the SP, so it has to be created and filled every time the user changes page in the datagrid. My question is this: Would it be more efficient to...

Dear Groups I've used paging with a datagrid in C# at least a hundred times, but for whatever reason, I cannot get the prev /next to appear as links. It is absolutely certain that the number of records exceed the page size. Code is as follows: <asp:datagrid id="grdStores" runat="server" allowpaging="True"

The default gridview paging links are JavaScript and it looks like there is no way for search engines to follow them. Any ideas on what I can do to allow search engines to follow the links so they can index all the data in the datagrid with paging.

In a shopping cart app, a ASPX page retrieves the order details & personal details of a user from a MS-Access database table depending upon the username of the user. The order details of a particular order (like ProductID, Name, Description, Quantity etc.) are displayed in one DataGrid where as the personal details of the buyer corresponding to this order (like Name, E-Mail, Shipping & Billing Address etc.) are displayed in another...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
