Http Headers Errors?

Hi everyone

I have a progressive bar which is outputted by Response.Write( "javascript
code") and Response.Flush( )

After the progressive bar reach 100% I want to redirect this page to my main
page using Response.Redire ct or Server.Transfer . However if i use
Response.Redire ct I got the following message
"Cannot redirect after HTTP headers have been sent.", and if I use
Server.Transfer ("newpage.aspx" ), the browser just appends more code into the
exsiting one which is "progressivebar .aspx" which I don't want to show
anymore.

I did look on google, there are just several links. can't solve the problem
Is there any way to go around this issue?

Thanks

PS: I did use Response.Clear( ). This does not work either.

Has anyone experienced random incomplete HTTP header errors? It seems to happen randomly, say 1 in 100 page loads but that is just the ones I see. I'm running version 4.2.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Josh

I'm in the process of moving my site from one server to another (my old hosting company appears to have gone bust). On the old host and on my local Mac OS X machine I can send HTTP/1.1 response headers with no problem (e.g. header( 'HTTP/1.1 200 OK' ). If I do the same on the new server I get redirected to the server's 'Internal Error'...

I have a problem where when I run the PHP code offline, there are no errors produced and the code runs as expected. However when I uploaded the same script and run it, it says the headers have already been sent. The script is for a "downloader" type script, where the user clicks on a file link (to the PHP script) using $_GET to pass the...

Hi guys, this *should* be a simple problem, but I've never really got my head around it. I'm hoping somebody on this message board could help me out? I don't really have any experience with VS.NET, which is probably why I'm having so much trouble! Basically, I've been doing some OpenGL coding using VS.NET as the compiler. Obviously (if you...

I'm using the feature of vc++ "use precompiled headers", is there going to be any problem if I compile this code on other compilers? Recently, there was a Linux program distributed as source code, and it compiled fine on the majority of systems. However on some systems, it failed to compile. On some of these systems, people were getting errors for undeclared tokens, while others were getting linking errors. Anyway, the problem was that one of the source files was...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
