Disappearing event handlers

If I set a method as an event handler using design view in vs.net then from
time to time it disappers(unreg isters) and all my buttons don't work :(.
How can I prevent it ?

Tahnks in advance

there are bugs in the ide that kill lines initializecompo nent routine.
I have heard that if u make a function call within intializecomone nt
and add all the eventhandlers within this routine it will stop
happenning.

Hello! Is it possible to find how many event handlers an event has at runtime? How about finding whether or not an event has event handlers? In C# you can compare the event with null to check if it has event handlers, but I can't find the equivalent in VB. Thanks Amit
